First bank debunk Rumors, assures Hitch free service.

In a press release by the management of First Bank this morning, the management reiterated that the earlier release or news circulated was misinterpreted by the general public. The message was focused on vendors who are transitioning from the current I-supplier platform to a new cloud-based platform.
“Please be informed that no system upgrade is currently underway, and all our customer applications are fully operational. We are not experiencing disruption to our services, and our banking systems, customer transactions, channels, will not be affected by the enhanced supplier platform”.
It was earlier rumored that FirstBank announced a 10-day temporary shutdown for system upgrading to begin 26th October to 4th of November 2024.
